New Movie Star News!!

Ashley Duggan-Smith is starring in a new movie role. Her character name is "Tabby".

She is playing a runaway teenage girl on drugs...COOL HUH!?? (every father's dream...) and she is THE main character...in movie terms, the show is about HER! Scary huh?

It is currently being filmed in Baton Rouge, LA.

I Photographed Liv Tyler...

Well, a close look-alike. This is Stephanie Harrell and Chris Hall . This photograph does not really look like Liv, but in some others she sure does, or at least a younger Liv...well, in my little and sad world, she does.

Unfortunately, I am not photographing their wedding, but that's ok. Very cute couple.

There was a truly warm and fuzzy moment when I was aware she reminded me of someone but just couldn't figure it out. It got all tingly when I figured it out...LIV TYLER!!!

Unfortunately, neither one spoke elfish...She would have had me at "hello..." ;) (Sorry, wrong movie)

Gettin' Married!!!!

Kim Cruz and Daniel Hussey are getting married this Friday afternoon at 3:00pm in Troy, Alabama. The ceremony will be held at Bush Memorial Church.

This will be my first Friday wedding, so I am not sure what I will do all day Saturday.

I just took Kim's Formal bridal pictures yesterday and I may not get them up before the wedding. But they will go up with the other pictures.

I am looking forward to traveling to the big city of Troy (!?) I hear there is sooooooo much to do there :)

Another Photo Lesson Sample

These photos were taken from a wedding of Kim Dodge & Trent Lambert that I shot this last weekend in the Lake Martin area.

These are actually 2 images taken in a row. The one on the left is straight out of the camera, while the photo on the right is retouched and enhanced. So much more dramatic isn't it?

Which would you prefer that your photographer give you? If you say the one on the left...there are a lot of people that are happy to give you that low-level of quality and you don't want to call me.

You know why some photographers will give you such low-level amateurish photography? It's less work for them...OR they don't know how to make it any better...or even worse, both!

Why compromise your wedding pictures, of all things?!
