Ok, here is the deal. Get a FREE (Yes, free) 16x20 Fine Art Print when you sign up for us to photograph your wedding!

A Fine Art print is much different than what you can get from the store-front photographers. All retouching and enhancements are included, plus it is printed on a Fine Art paper. That means it will last much longer when properly matted and framed.

Problem Resolved...It Could Happen...

  1. I really need to limit my internet time.
  2. Just how much time did this guy have to do this?
  3. #2 is really sad.
  4. Not a bad idea, really.
  5. This has absolutely nothing to do with photography.

Boing...Boing...Boing...

I am kinda tired.

I was up until after 3:00am last night trying to get a few coffee-table albums done and ready to be sent off to Italy. I was ready to UPS the shipment then I remembered one of the orders had some parent books ordered...yikes! Glad I remembered.

I have some new TOYS to play with regarding coffee-table albums. Looking forward to playing with those, if I can, for the Amanda Powell wedding coming up.

I bet I will kinda be a slacker this afternoon. I need some lunch...

UPDATE - UPDATE - UPDATE!!!

Ashley called me last night with some wonderful news!

One of the producers from her movie "Drool" called her from Los Angeles last night to tell her the editing for the movie is pretty much done.

They want her to do some voice-over work for the movie, like she is telling the story...

...they also dropped a bombshell on her and told her they re-edited the entire movie to make her the central/starring character!!!

That means she has a lot more screen time.

Is that just cool or what?!!??

They also said they wanted her to go to "Slamdance Film Festival" in January 2009, which is held in Utah....FIELD TRIP!!!!

I forgot to tell you this is her "Breakfast at Tiffany's" look

Which Would You Rather Have?

The photo on the left is a photograph straight out-of-the-camera, as I see it the very first time. The photo on the right has been retouched and enhanced. There is not really any comparison in the two, other than it is the same people in both.

(You can click on the picture to enlarge it)

I see so many photographers that are more than willing to give you a photograph straight out-of-the-camera (as in the left picture). Why would you want that? Cheap price? That is hardly a good reason. This is a picture of your WEDDING!!! THE MOST IMPORTANT DAY IN YOUR LIFE!

I have had brides bring me their disc, from another photographer, and want me to "fix" them. I have done that, but I can't fix the bad photography, bad posing, etc.

Getting a disc of images straight out-of-the-camera is hardly a good deal. It mainly indicates your photographer was lazy, did not care about their client and wanted nothing further to do with her. Ouch! But true.
