Wow...and I just got them in!!

I have already given out or sent out over 25 of the new Wedding Brochures and I just got them in Friday afternoon. There are 17 of them out for the mail pickup today.

This is a graphic of the front (right) and back (left) of the new brochures. Yeah, I like to do the artsy-stuff with wedding pictures.

The 2007 Wedding Price cards are here! They look great! Whoever designed them did a wonderful job :)

I decided to go with a smaller greeting card-type design this year instead of the big Sumo cards I had last year. You can easily carry it in your purse when comparing services with other photographers... :) Just whip it out and compare...I dare you!

The good part is, it is stuffed with sample photos from various weddings I have done.

You can order one online or give me a call at (334) 265-6211 and I will send one to you. If you prefer you can drop by and pick one up if you are in a hurry. No obligation, of course.

It was kinda neat getting them delivered, because I had someone come in and we were discussing everything for her daughter's wedding and in walks the UPS guy! We had fun trying to figure out how to open the box...no really, it was a challenge...hard to explain, it just was...really...not a typlical plain box.

They are so neat, you should hire me just because they look so good!

Bridal Shows

I will be at the Bridal Show at the Wetumpka Civic Center on Sunday, February 4, 2007, from 1-5pm. I am also looking to get in on the Bridal Expo in Auburn on Sunday February 18, 2007, from 1-5pm at the Marriot at Grand National.

If you want to see samples, view WebShows and just discuss your desires, those are the best places to get a positive (or not...) impression of many photographers. Hey, personalities are great to find out BEFORE the wedding. Sometimes they just don't fit. If you can't talk to your photographer about your photography desires or needs, at a bridal show, you definately won't be able to do it at the wedding. That will be too late!

If you are going to either of those, look me up, say "hi" and give me a hug! :)

NEW Blue Moon Gallery Business Cards

Wedding Brochure...FIIINNNAAAALLLLLLYYY!

Ok...after uploading the file 3 times, I think I have the graphics saved to the correct settings for printing. It is now in pre-production, which means printing a proof for approval. That should not be a big deal since I have sent them the complete artwork.

What a nightmare. Now I am a few days behind on getting them printed. I should receive the proof Friday, I think. I may have to get 2-day priority shipping instead of the regular ground. Weather out west is terrible and may have a difficult time getting here.

This is going to be the cover. They will be super-neat. All the information you need to determine your plan level, and a-la-carte choice options.

This will be a bi-fold brochure, like a greeting card. Compact and easy to carry and refer to when you go to OTHER STUDIOS AND COMPARE!!!! Will be cool to just whip it out! I dare you!

The bottom line is, YOU GET TO CHOOSE WHAT YOU WANT IN YOUR PLAN. Everything is priced a-la-carte. You have a specific amount to spend in each plan level. However, you are more than welcome to spend more! It is surprising that most people do. But if you don't, that is just fine. I want you to have exactly what YOU want, NOT what a studio/photographer has chosen for you to get.

Black & White Can Be Awesome

This photograph was taken at the Amy & Robert Tate wedding.

While I was printing it, I noticed just how nice the print was. It was not a posed shot. I was photographing them, and just pointed the camera down to their hands.

They were sitting in the dressing room after the ceremony and just "bonding". It is such a warm and sincere moment. I think it is an awesome shot. Makes me want to fall in love...(needle-scratching-on-record-sound goes here).

The photo you see here just does not look the same as it does actually printed. The original color shot just does not have the warmth and "feel" that this black and white version does. The rings have been enhanced to make them pop out.

I just had to print an 11x14 for me to hang on the wall in the studio.

Oh, and I need to say "hi" to KW. Hope you are doing ok!

New 2007 Wedding Pricing Brochures...Soon!

Some of you may not want the CD so I am having new wedding brochures printed. I should have them here soon. In the meantime you can call or email me and I can send you a temporary printout of it, or you can request an interactive CD to view on your computer.

It may or may not look like what is here, I am tweaking the design a bit. The actual printing should not take long at all. I will be sending the final design Monday or Tuesday.
